Description: A most unusual quartered oak mantel with inset clock. The center clock has a Seth Thomas 8 day movement with time and strike. The face is oak with raised brass numerals and hands. The door has a great original frosted beveled glass with a clear oval in the base where the pendulum can be seen. There is a very impressive carved crest on top of the clock. The clock is flanked by and decorative oval beveled mirror on each side. Below the surface is a curved skirt. The mantel has attractive "S" shaped supporting columns. The narrowest part of the opening is 38"W x 41.5"H. The clock is working. This is an amazing piece of oak furniture! Circa: 1900 Dimensions: 85"H x 60"W x 11"D Finish: Refinished Price: $10,500.00
