Description: Antique shaded green art glass Pitcher / jug with intaglio engraved flowers made by Ludwig Moser and Sohne, Bohemia (now Czech Republic), 1890's.

Measures 12 1/2 inches high.

Thick glassed round base. Narrows towards the top in facets whose angles result in interesting light reflection combinations. Glass is green cased inside clear with the green showing on the top and cut away towards the bottom. The glass is further hand engraved in an intaglio tulip pattern. Exquisite detail - the closer you look, the more detail you see, from the striations of the bent and folded leaves, in the best Art Nouveau elongated, swirling design, to the acutely observed botanic inner parts such as the stamen with anthers on the ends.
