Description: Mortens Studio beach children – girl and boy bathers – are 7.25” tall and were produced around 1950; each carries the Durostone, made in the USA, Mortens Studio sticker on the base. She carries a beach towel and brush, while he carries a long-handled brush. Each has the © The Mortens Studio inscribed on the side of the base. These children are rare, and that is not a word that I use lightly. Mention of them does not even appear in the Mortens Studio book by John Cox. Each is missing a little bit of paint here and there, but nothing that detracts from their appearance. There are no chips or crazing. They are in excellent shape!
