For your consideration we are offering a Set of 10 Antique Lenox China Fish Plates Hand Painted by William Morley and Eugene DeLan. There are 9 plates hand painted and signed by William Morley and one hand painted and signed by Eugene DeLan. The 10 plates each measure 9 inches in diameter and feature the fish scenes in the center of the plates. The center of each plate is edged with a gold line, dot and scalloped design. The rim of each plate features gold trim that measures 1/2 inch wide. The gold trim features a pattern of fish and sea plants. All 10 plates feature the same gold trim decoration but have an individual fish scene. The 9 plates painted by Morley were made for Charles R Lynde Boston. They are: Pike, Perch, King Fish, Salmon, Yellow Perch, Spanish Mackerel, Striped Bass, Black Bass, and Blue Fish. The plate painted by DeLan is of the Mangrove Snapper. The plates have just slight wear from age, use and display. Their condition is excellent with no chips or cracks. Please click to enlarge our photos to make them easier to view.
