Description: A watercolor painting by W.M.Michell (1881-1955).Mitchell was primarily an artist who produced landscapes of Montreal and locations in Quebec.This piece is of a scene on the Saguenay "Cape Trinity" signed with initials on lower right"WMM".Mitchell carved the frames for his works.He was active during the period 1928-44 and is listed in "Dictionary of Canadian Artists " by Colin S.MacDonald pp.1244-1245.
