Description: This is a fabulous vintage Miriam Haskell long large lucite hexagon necklace with silver beads and a reverse carved pendant. Matching earrings. The necklace consists of molded lucite discs with a puffed out hexagon shape(Each one measures about 1 inch in diameter). There are big silver beads alternating with the lucite shapes. Each large silver bead measures 16mm round. I am not sure but they may be sterling. There is no hazing like you normally see in silver plate. There are all kinds of bead caps,tiny beads with cut sides in between each piece. The pendant is a reverse carved fan shaped lucite piece. It has deep carved lines in the front. In the back (reverse carved) it has at the top a stem with leaves. On each section of the fan part there is a dot inside of a circle. The pendant measures 3 1/2 x 2 5/8 inches. It is about 1/4 inch thick. The clasp on the necklace is a filigree top with silver beads wound together like a flower with very fine silver wire. It is a push in clasp. The clasp is signed on the back, actually a part of the clasp, MIRIAM HASKELL in an oval. The necklace measures 30 inches long. The pendant has some slight surface scratches on the back. The rest of the necklace is in excellent condition. The silver beads are clean and shiny. The earrings match the necklace. Each earring has a silver bead in the center with smaller silver beads going around the outside alternating with faceted clear crystals and mounted on a silver filigree backing. You can see the wire wrapping around the filigree in the back. Each earring measures 1 1/2 inches in diameter. The silver beads on the earrings appear to be plated. There is a small mark or 2 on the surface of the large center bead. These are adjustable clip backs with the screw tension head. Each earring is marked MIRIAM HASKELL around the part of the clip that is attached to the back and signed on the back of the clip, HASKELL. Shipping is $10.50 for priority,insured.
