Description: Beautifully engraved certificate from the Minter Homes Company issued in 1920. This item is hand signed by the Company’s President (W. E. Minter) and Secretary and is over 82 years old. Minter Homes was a supplier of pre-fabricated mill villages. Minter Homes was one of the Greenville's prized new businesses, for the busy company built both locally (they had put up more than 300 Greenville home) and shipped industrial village houses throughout the south and east. Minter Homes hit a downturn in industrial orders for pre-fabricated housing, went into receivership in April 1921.
