Description: Welcome! Up for auction is an old miniature bronze or brass anvil, either a working jeweler's anvil or a salesman's sample. It measures 4 3/4 inches long at the top, 2 1/4 inches high and 1 3/4 inches wide at the bottom. It weighs a little over two pounds. The surface of the top of the anvil is pretty well dinged and marked up, so it was probably used in jewelry making, but these little anvils were also used as salesman's samples and as advertising items. Other than the surface dings, this anvil is in good condition and has a nice heavy weight, making a great desktop item. Buy it now!
