Description:
Millefleur Noire Octagonal Porcelain Bowl / Dish Da Qing Guangxu Nian Zhi - "Guangxu period (1875-1908) made". This one is is particularly desirable due to the heavily decorated on both sides. The inside is with flowers against the blue enamel matrix. Whereas the outside has a black matrix. It is a medium quality for export piece without any damage. There are a few pit marks here there which is natural occurance in the manufacturing process . As you can see the enameling does not cover completely to the edge of the base. There is color does not reach the the rim either. The appears to be some loss of pigment on the rim edge.
