Description: Type which served in the Civil War. 26 1/4" d.e. blade of heavy fighting form (smooth gray patina, few tiny edge nicks). Brass hilt with well detailed helmet form pommel and shield shaped langets and expanded guard with raised edges and stippled field. Reeded bone grip. Hilt shows just normal aging.
