MIDO BUMPER SUPERAUTOMATIC MULTIFORT 14k GOLD 30mm 1947. Fine and very rare. So Called Bumper or Hammer early automatic system. This all original solid 14k gold automatic was the vanguard of technology for it's time in the late 1940s. The condition of the soldi gold case is excellent and fully signed. The dial is original. Expecially collectible because this watch was among the very best of it's day and is still operating as it did in 1947.
THIS IS A FINE COLLECTIBLE. DON'T INVEST IN THE STOCK MARKET. BUY SOMETHING PROVEN IN TIME.
DIAL: Teardrop figures with a bright red sweep second hand and marked: "Mido". All original with sole moisture spots which do not distract.
MOVEMENT: 3/4 Plate nickel automatic 30 degree rotation so called: "Bumper" , or sometimes called: "Hammer" automatic, "Seveenteen (17) Jewels, "Made in Switzerland", "BRITISH PAT. 385509", "Mido Limited 817. Excellent nickel plates.
CASE: Screw back octagon solid 14k gold case marked on back: "MIDO MULTIFORT SUPERAUTOMATIC SWITZERLAND". Truly excellent condition and all original. Black croc. pattern Aligator strap. Original initials "LLB".
