Description:
Dominia Anglorum in America Septentrionali
A beautiful, hand-colored mid-18th century map of the British colonies in America, published in Nuremburg.
Four maps on one sheet: Newfoundland, Nova Scotia and New Brunswick - New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania - Virginia and Maryland - Carolina and north Florida, based upon earlier maps by Herman Moll which were published in London. The counties, rivers and towns are clear, and well marked. The hand-coloring is very little faded from the years.
The map is professionally matted and framed under glass. It is very good condition, with very minor discoloration, and pencil marks at the bottom, center, where someone wrote "About 1700." The view size is 20.25 inches by 22.75 inches.
Price for shipping will be actual packaging and shipping costs ONLY - we never charge additional or "handling" fees.
