This carving is better than any Japanese miniature ivory carving of comparable size.It features 2 birds perched on a vine of a double gourd.Bottle's spoon is in shape of a gourd leaf. The open work in ivory is superlative exceeding normal human skills ability. Size: 2.2" X 1.2" (5.5 cm. x 3 cm.).
