Description: Exquisite ivory micro-carving snuff bottle in shape of 2 bees riding on a honeycomb located on a peach tree branch with peaches and flower. Signed Son Zan on the bottom. The stopper handle is in shape of a bee. Size: 2" X 1.5" (5 X 4 cm.). Provenance: Dr. Veleanu's collection, the author of reference book: "Netsuke". Several Son Zan micro-carvings are featured in this reference book.
