Description: 14K yellow gold antique lady's watch made by CH Meylan around 1910. The original gold dial features black Arabic numerals and is unmarked although the movement is marked "CH Meylan Brassus". The manual wind movement is also marked "5 Adjustments, Seventeen 17 Jewels, 24596, Halmark CH Meylan Switzerland" The 25.80mm round case has beautiful blue and white enamel accenting the hand engraved details. There is some damage to the enamel. The outer case back has a monogram "MLH" and the inside caseback is marked "14K, 2016, and Halmark (matching the one on the movement)". The expansion bracelet is ahead of it's time! It also features blue and white enamel accenting and engraved details that match those found on the watch case. The inside of the bracelet is hand engraved "Louise Hansen Chicago", and is marked "Pat'd Dec 29-08 Halmark (same as on case and movement). The bracelet is small and will expand just enough to fit a small hand and wrist. This watch is special and should be worn carefully to preserve it's integrity.
