Description:
This is a very attractive silver bracelet with an oval onyx stone set in the center. The piece has nice lines with openwork around the stone. The markings inside the back read "TR-110, Mexico, 925". The "T" means it was made in Taxco, Mexico, the silver capital of Mexico, the "R" is the initial of the artisan; while "110" indicates that he/she was the 110th artisan with that initial to register as a silver designer in Taxco. The clasp works well and the measurements are 2-1/2 inches side to side; 2-1/4 inches front to back. The front (widest part) measures approximately 1 inch wide. The openings are 2 3/8 inches. The stone is approximately 3/4 inches wide by 7/16th high. It weighs 39 grams. This bracelet is in excellent vintage condition and would attract attention wherever you would wear it. Dress down, or dress up - this is the one piece of jewelry that goes anywhere with anything.
