Description:
Very old painted Mexican Terra-cotta pottery dish or bowl with handle and lid. It measures 13" from handle to other side and 9" across from side to side. It is about 4" high not including the finial knob on the lid. The condition is very rustic. It is hand painted and hand made so there are some imperfections to be found. However with this one there is chip under the lid and a small nick on the rim of the pot. There is worn and uneven glaze. The finial knob looks like it has been broken off the tip and then painted over.
