Description:
Here is one of the most elegant and impressive large Meissen bowls! It is in a royal lemon yellow with lavish amounts of gold enameling. The gold enameling is incredibly ornate with flowing scrolls and leaves embracing the center and the entire rim. It is very classical in design and quite refined. It is marked on the bottom with the blue underglaze crossed swords along with the number 29. There is also a B150 incised in script along with an impressed 13. It is in very good condition with the expected wear here and there to the gold enameling but it isn’t noticeable in the least and in no way takes away from the grandeur of this piece. It measures 11” in diameter x 2 ¼” high.
