Description: Beautiful Meissen Blue Onion Oval Vegetable or Serving Bowl. This bowl has wonderful deep flow blue coloring, it is 9" long by just over 7" across and 1 3/4" deep, marked on the back with Cauldon England BWM & Co. Meissen, it also has the Cauldon incised, according to Knovels this is the mark for Brown-Westhead, Moore & Co and dates to the late 1800's to early 1900's. It is in lovely condition, no chips and no cracks, base where it rests against the table show some light wear. It would be a beautiful addition to your collection!
