Description: Wonderful! Heavy little electric iron made to be connected to power by a plug that screwed into a light socket. It is in its original metal carrying case with a removable hot plate & clothes line on a reel. The cord is original cloth covered & the handle is painted wood. No marks on the hinged box but "MECO" & "110 Volt 220 Watt" inscribed on the metal part of the handle. A tiny bit of rust speckling & the gold paint on the case has some wear. The clothes line appears to be original & is clean. The cord is still pliable. The set looks like it's never been used.....just been around for 80+ years!
