Description: Meakin Bros. & Co. Ironstone Pedestal Dish Circa. 1880 England. Originally used to hold fruit. Now can be used for fruit, candy, etc. Marked Meakin Bros. & Co. on inside bottom of base. There is one very small spot where the glaze is missing on the rim. No cracks or other imperfections. Measures 4 1/4 inches high, 9 1/2 inches in diameter at top, and 4 3/4 inches in diameter at bottom. In excellent original condition.
