Description: Thomas L. McKenney & James L. Hall print ""Pee-Che-Kir, a Chippewa Chief"" from the 1855 octavo edition of ""History of the Indian Tribes of North America."" The Chief is shown from the chest-up, with a red, serious face, dressed entirely in white clothing with a silver cuff around his arm. A brightly colored pipe protrudes from his clothing. Print measures approximately 7"" x 10.5"". Fine condition.
