Description: McGregor Iowa travel booklet 1920s, This book gives the history of Mr McGregor and the surrounding area. It is printed on a greenish tinted paper and ink. It shows the commercial club, the colored sands cave and notes that it is the home of Andrew Clemens sand art. The Ringling Brothers circus started in McGregor and it outlines the History of the McGregor Region. It gives acknowledgement to A.A. Horning for the front cover, and to W. F. Bickel for the map work and text and arrangement of book. Very interesting, some discoloration to cover from age, otherwise excellent condition. It is not dated, but shows a car from the late 1920 era and golfers with clothing of the period. It is a vintage booklet. aprox 14 pages, 7 1/2 x 9 1/2 inches.
