Description: Offering this wonderful vintage Mayfair / Gardel Industries composition birthstone doll, stands 5 1/2 inches tall, circa 1945. One piece body with strung arms; hand painted facial features with side glancing eyes and wavy auburn mohair wig. Dressed in an cream color satin gown with lovely intricate lace ruffle, pale blue felt flowers (which match her bonnet) and two birthstone buttons on bodice - look to be faux turquoise. Muslin pantaloons and painted on black shoes. No markings. Good+++ condition, no cracks or chips, clean. A lovely doll for your collection and enjoyment!
