Description: Great piece of American folk art, c1935. A lift top box with interior fold down section. Box is made of pine with brass handle & hasp. Exterior has been decorated with cut match sticks & popsicle sticks. The center of the diamond sections are mahogany veneer. Great multiple rayed patterns! Box is 11 1/4 w, 6 1/2 d & 6 1/4 h ". Box retains original nicely mellowed varnish.
