This is a most unusual ( most likely a commissioned piece),20 MARKS GOLD COIN CIGARETTE CASE. I have more photos if you would like to email me to see them. This 4-3/4 x 3-3/4 inch hand engraved cigarette case features 3 genuine gold and 3 silver coins on the front, and 8 others on the back. It has a gold wash interior and the coins must have been un-circulated when it was initially made due to the incredible luster on them inside. It does test Sterling Silver, but I couldn’t find a maker’s mark.A neat fact about this it that the owner must have used this quite a bit because there is a small dent on the bottom left where his thumb would have opened and closed this most unusual case!.PLease remember that vintage & antique items are not mint, nor are they perfect but they sure are full of old history and charm.Please use photos to make your decisions
