Description: This is a Western Stoneware Mar-crest Brown Bean Pot . This folk art classic pattern was created in the 1950's. The pattern is composed of daisies, dots and wavy lines. Thus it is commonly called Daisy and Dot. Beans always taste best when baked in a crock bean pot. The 5 1/4" high excellent condition open bean pot has two hanndles. The bottom is marked MAR-CREST OVEN PROOF STONEWARE U.S.A.
