Description: This extremely large walnut marble top table originally had a felt or leather top. This would have been considered a Victorian library table or writing desk. The replaced shapely marble is in excellent condition. All 4 sides of the table have prominent and detailed carvings. This is a table that looks beautiful and is finished on all 4 sides. One side has a long drawer with 4 divided compartments inside. The table is supported by 2 beautifully carved pedestals. Even the center stretcher has bold turnings and carvings. The finish is in excellent condition. The table is extremely sturdy with no breaks or repairs.
