Nuts to who? This one is a riotous set from Europe devoted to pure fun. The demi-parure stars an adjustable necklace measuring a total of approx. 22" long. It's a wonderful hodge-podge, with varying consistencies and weights of figural plastic beads representing, among other things, what appear to be acorns, walnuts, Brazil nuts, coffee beans, red peppers, and who knows what else? Matching clip-on earrings are approx. 1 1/2" long. Fish-hook clasp on necklace and goldtone clips on earrings are marked "Germany."

Upon close inspection, there is a modicum of wear to the paint on some of the larger beads. (Please see second photo.) However, these small flaws are not distracting, but seem rather merely to blend in with the maniacal frivolousness of the set.
