Description:
Beautifully engraved and hard to find certificate from the famous Malibu Grand Prix Company issued in the 1980's. This historic document was printed by the Jeffries Banknote Company and has an ornate border around it with a vignette of Grand Prix Car. The certificates has some holes in the border caused by staples as can be seen in the scan. I have not seen many of these certificates around as they are quite scarce. This item has the printed signatures of the company's officers and is over 13 years old. Malibu Grand Prix is owned by Dallas, Texas based Malibu Entertainment Worldwide, Inc. They are leaders in the location-based entertainment industry, currently operating 22 entertainment parks in eight states, including their flagship motor sports-themed SpeedZones, located in Dallas, Texas, Los Angeles, California, and Atlanta, Georgia. Other Malibu facilities operate under the Malibu Grand Prix and Mountasia brands and are primarily clustered in California, Texas, Georgia, and Florida.
