Description: We are pleased to offer this very large stag antique cast bronze double inkwell. The stag takes center stage on this piece with great attention to detail. The bronze has a very old darkened patina with areas of verde. The two inkwells have hinged lids and are missing their inserts. There are no markings on the piece to indicate a manufacturer as is common with old casts. This substantial bronze measures 16" long, 8 1/2" wide and stands 12" tall. The stag alone measures 9 1/2" long and nearly the same in height. The detail in the cast is wonderful with a scrolling pattern on the edges and legs and even the stag's coat. This is by far one of the largest inkwell's we have ever come upon. Very good condition!
