Description: This solid mahogany cabinet is extremely well made. The design and carving detail are reminiscent of the cabinetmakers Hale & Kilburn. Below the cornice is an intricately and deeply carved wide frieze. The 2 glass doors slide for accessing the one long shelf. Below the glass doors are 6 small hand dovetailed drawers with their original solid cast brass pulls. Notice the intricately carved banding below the drawers. The base steps out with 2 recessed paneled doors. Inside is a long single shelf. The door has its original lock. The cabinet has its original finish, which is in very good condition. The cabinet's small size, yet great storage capacity, makes it appealing for the home or office.
