Description:
This solid mahogany 3-door bookcase has subtle Art Nouveau styling. The top crest is removable, in case you do not care for the unusual top with the turned and carved finials. The outside corners have fully turned carved and reeded columns. The side doors each have 5 adjustable shelves and are 11.25" deep. The center door has 4 adjustable shelves and measures a whopping 21" deep - perfect for those hard to store folio or oversized books. Each door has its original working lock and key escutcheon. Each door has an unusual grill design. There is a key for the bookcase. Notice that all 4 sides of the cabinet have 2 recessed panels. The base has 3 hand-dovetailed drawers with their original fancy cast brass pulls. The drawer fronts are also recessed paneled. This bookcase is of excellent quality. The finish is in excellent condition as well.
