Description: We offer a magnificent pietra dura piece that we imagine was used as a paper weight. Dating from the second quarter of the 19th century this is an exquisite moscaic set in what we understand is an argolite base. It portrays doves and flowers. It is one of the finest that we have seen and is a great rarity in this condition. It measures 12.5 cm by 9 cm.and is 1.8 cm high.
