Description:
MADAME DOLL 14" # IS 1460 1967-1975 - CLASSIC SERIES.
This is a very pretty doll with a Mary Ann face. She is in excellent condition complete with original box. Her gown is a pink-peach colored satin brocade, trimmed with lace and bows. The gown is in excellent-mint condition. She is wearing a Martha Washington type cap that is the same color as the dress and it is trimmed in lace with a black bow in front. The elastic is loose . Her undergarments are white including slip;lace leggins/lace and stockings. Her black velvet shoes are in excellent condition.
Her skin is in very good condition with very good coloring. She has blue eyes and beautiful black lashes. She has blond hair in the original ringlets. She comes in a MA blue box with pink tissue, box is marked "Madame doll 1460" . The box is bent and out of shape from storage but I believe she has not been removed from the box except at the estate auction where I purchased her.
I have been told that she is valued in Patricia
Smith's Price Guide at $475. She is valued in Madame Alexander 2005 Collector's Dolls Price guide at $225.
