All sectional units are the popular D size with 4 units being 10 1/4 inches high and 1 unit being 12 1/4 inches high. This height measurement is with the door in the up position and represents the height available for storing an upright book. This bookcase has been professionally and painstakingly restored to its original beauty. The backs are original ..the plys that make up the back are notorious for seperating...these have been reglued to there original condition. All the glass is wavy and original to the bookcase.
