Description: We are offering a well remembered staple in the mid-century American kitchen, the cheery red can with a smiling black lady on the Lusianne coffee can. Made by the Wm. B. Reily & Co. Inc. of New Orleans, it was actually a blend of coffee and chicory. This can is in very good condition, as can be seen from the photos. There are a few detractions. There is a splatter pattern of mildly faded spots on the front, a scuff mark to the right of the black lady's arm, a small spot of corrsion to the right of the white lady's head on the back, and several faint scratches to the paint. You have to get up close on this can to see these imperfections. The lid and the bottom have some light surface corrosion.
