Description:
This lovely luster colonial lady with light brown hair and
finely painted features is ready for her first dance of the
evening. Her dark blue luster gown has an interesting
decorative pattern. She is from the airbrush period so
she shows that fine blue misting on some of the white
areas. Her arm & hand with the fan are very blue.
Hanging on the
wall all this is not noticeable and she makes a striking
addition to a grouping of luster items. She can also sit
free standing on a table or shelf. She has no chips or
cracks, but some extra pieces of clay left over in firing.
The inside
of the pocket could use a good cleaning. Her double
makers mark is an impressed Japan on the back and
on the bottom of the pocket a dark burgundy bird on a
limb mark with Made in Japan lettering. Please
