Description: Oil on board, framed. Signed lower right "L. Gebhardt". Old label verso with a typed biography of the artist in German. Another old label verso "Salon Neuner, Berlin". Dimensions: Unframed: 9 1/4 x 16 1/2in. Frame: 14 3/4 x 21 3/4in. (Box G) Condition: A couple of 3/4in. scrapes to surface 1/2in. from lower edge and 3in. from left. Scattered overpainting visible under u.v. light. The painting has recently been restored and is in excellent condition. Artist's Biography:
Ludwig Gebhardt (1830-1908) German. Landscape artist born and died in Munich. Student of the Academy of Munich. Exhibited in Munich, Breme, Vienna and Dresden from 1866-1888.
