Description: 19th century Louis XVI loveseat or settee from France. Highly carved along the lines of the frame with unique back which can be upholstered in the center oval or left open. Unusual shaker type carving on legs as well. All springs intact with light burlap covering. Stunning when padded and reupholstered. Wonderful size for end of bed as well as out in a room as the back is also decorative. Antique cream aged paint,worn in places with bitsw of gilt on the carvings. Excellent frame condition and sturdy. Measures 51L X 21D X 31.5H.
