Description: Lovely Victorian Marquetry Walnut Armchair with a gracefully scrolled crest with an oval center crest of ebonized marquetry inlaid flowers and leaves. Two small circles of marquetry are on the top of the side stile and the arms are shaped with incising. The bowed base of the seat has another very fine oval plague of marquetry with a horn and tambourine. The legs are tapered and shaped. The armchair has it's fine old original finish and the old upholstery is usable. Circa: 1870 Dimensions: 45" H x 27" W x 26" D Finish: Good original Price: $1350.00
