Description: Vintage 10K gold filled one button caliber 12.68Z Longines stop-second flyback chronograph wristwatch circa 1948 with box and warranty. 31mm Snap back case with straight lugs, glass crystal, original silver dial with a slight patina. Applied Breguet numerals, sub seconds at 6 o'clock, blue steel center minute counter, gold chronograph hand is constantly running and can be reset to zero on the fly, it can be paused by pressing the chrono-button lightly. Case stamped Longines-Wittnauer Watch Co. Inc. New York Geneva Montreal 10K Gold Filled L & K 4029. Movement marked Longines Watch Co. Swiss 17 Jewels unadjusted Brevet 7418162, caliber 12.68Z. This is a nice example of an early Longines stop second chronograph.
