Description: Beautifully engraved Historic Stock Certificate condition from the Little Miami Railroad Company for shares of Common Stock. The certificate was dated in the 1850s and 1860s which makes this item over 135 years old. This certificate was issued during the Civil War and the reconstruction period that followed. They are hand signed by the company's president and secretary. This document has a decorative border with a vignette of the original Tom Thumb Steam Train. It also has period cancellations and the Washington Internal Revenue Tax Stamp.
