Description:
This wonderful childrens Little Golden Book, Walt Disney Productions Pete's Dragon was published in 1977 by Western Publishing Inc., Racine, Wisconsin. When Little Golden Books launched in 1942 at 25 cents each, they changed publishing history. For the first time, children's books were high quality and low-priced. They were available to almost all children, not just a privileged few. Little Golden Books were designed to be sturdy (a new concept), delightfully illustrated, and to be sold not only in bookstores, but department stores and other chains (another new concept). It is about a young boy named Pete who runs away with his only friend a dragon named Elliott who is so kind and polite he often becomes invisible not to frighten anyone! They came to a little seaside town of Passamaquoddy and the story begins from there... In good condition there is no name on the belongs to page but it does have cover discoloration and on the back corner the paper is seperating in the corner which I have shown in my pictures. A wonderful addition to any Disneyana Children's Book Collection. SH & Ins. will be quoted after orders placed. If you have questions feel free to contact me and thank you for looking.
