Hand painted and signed by "Alice" this is a rare and beautiful, with the face of a geisha girl visible in the bottom of each cup. Exquisite!

Description: PRECIOUS BONE CHINA LITHOPANE "GEISHA GIRL" PINK ROSES TEA SET. This set INCLUDES a teapot w/lid, sugar w/lid, creamer, 4 cups and 4 saucers. This was an estate item that was sold as a "chocolate set", but it seems a bit small for that. I see it more as a demitasse or child's tea set. It is a precious pink with darker pink roses on two cups w/matching saucers and darker pink apple blossoms on 2 cups w/ matching saucers. The teapot and creamer and sugar also have the apple blossoms. It is fine bone china - you can see through it when you hold it up to the light. The 4 cups have the "Geisha Girl" face in the bottoms when you hold them to the light, as shown in one of the pictures provided. The teapot is about 7 1/2" tall (w/lid). The sugar is about 5 1/2" tall (w/lid); the creamer is 3" tall. Each cup is 2" tall and 2" in diameter at the top. EACH PIECE IS SIGNED BY THE ARTIST "ALICE", with the exception of the lids. This is a precious and delicate set designed to display, cherish, and love, and to pass down to your loved ones through the years. Shipping, handling and insurance is $18.00.
