Description: A lion in the Arts and Crafts style is on thie wonderful tile by the American Encaustic Tile Company of Zanesville Ohio. This 4 1/4" tile was designed by Leon Solon around 1920. It is in an old quartersawn oak wood frame and remains in excellent condition. The back of the tile is impressed with " AETCO TERRA-MERITA"
