Revised Edition. 8vo., 155 pp., green dust jacket with color illustration, brown boards with gilt lettering, illustrated with color frontispiece plus 8 black-and-white plates. Original published in 1931, this revised edition is rewarding reading for Pekingese owner's and admirers, and a revelation of an important element in Chinese art and culture. Dust jacket has some moderte edge wear, including small losses and closed tears to most edges, light wear at spine head and tail, d/j also has some light discoloration in spots, boards are clean with bottom tips slightly bumped, interior has some light foxing.
