Description: This small, narrow sized maple hiboy is most likely; a lingerie chest. The Queen Anne styling provides formality, but the use of maple adds a bit of casual or country feel. The gracefully arched pediment has a tall finial and a bold cornice. Below are 6 drawers. The top 5 have their original glass pulls. The bottom drawer has 2 very similar glass pulls. The chest of drawers rests on tall, slender cabriole legs. Notice the applied carving and intricately shaped edge between the legs on the front and the sides. All the drawers open and close smoothly. The chest has its original finish, which is in excellent condition.
