Description: This is a postcard of The Lincoln Memorial, Washington, D.C. The picture shows people taking a stroll in front of the Memorial. The back reads; The Lincoln Memorial is situated in Potomac Park near the River, on the axis of the Capitol and the Washington Monument. It is monumental in design. Thirty-one Doric columns, each forty feet in height, surround the structure, they representing thirty-one States at the time of Lincoln's death.
