Description: Beautiful and bright hand painted tree Blossoms on both the plate and bowl. The plate has a gorgeous gold border. The bowl stands on three (3) ball feet painted gold. The edge is trimmed in gold. Along with the inner part of the bowl the outside is painted in three areas with flower bouquets. The Console bowl is 8 3/8" in diameter by 3 1/16" high. The under glaze white ware mark is, Tressemann & Vogt, Mark 7.

The plate is 9 3/8 " in diameter. The under glaze white ware mark is, Tressemann & Vogt, Mark 8, and the over glaze decorating mark is, Tressemann & Vogt, Mark 16b.

Both pieces are in excellent condition with very minor loss to the gold. They are signed by the Factory artist Roby. More of his work can be found in Debby DuBay's books, "Antique Limoges At Home," pages 134 & 138; "Living With Limoges", pages 115 & 138.
